Nintendo is reintroducing its Mario Golf series for the Switch with a new entry, Mario Golf: Super Rush. The game will arrive on 25th June 2021 and is the sixth entry in the series and the first since World Tour released for the Nintendo 3DS handheld in 2014.
It’s also the first home console Mario Golf since 2003, according to Nintendo. Nintendo has also revealed a new story mode for Mario Golf: Super Rush with the ability to play as your own customizable Mii.

The trailer shows how the Joy-Con’s motion controls can be used to swing your club and some of the modes in the game. There’s a multiplayer Speed Golf mode, that allows you and three other players to race on the same course to sink your golf ball first. There’s also a Story Mode, in which your Mii rises the ranks from rookie to pro.
The company also made other announcements at its Nintendo Direct event on Wednesday, 17th February 2021. They include a Switch remaster of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Splatoon 3, and the inclusion of Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s Pyra and Mytrha in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
