Tesla CEO and Technoking, Elon Musk, is getting in on some NFT action. Musk has produced a new electronic music track as an NFT and he’ll be putting it up for sale. It’s a song about non-fungible tokens, and Musk plans to put it on the blockchain. Most likely with the help of Tesla’s Master of Coins.
Musk has not put up a link to the NFT, so we don’t know if it’s already on sale or will be sold at a later date. We also do not know what platform Musk will choose to sell the NFT.
We don’t know the title of the track, although Musk attached a looping video to the song on Twitter. The video shows the words “Vanity Trophy” and gold dogs, orbiting around a golden orb affixed to the top of a literal trophy reading “HODL”. HODL means “hold on for dear life”. There are also the words “COMPUTERS NEVER SLEEP”.

“HODL” is an online slang and a rallying cry in the bitcoin community. The abbreviation urges cryptocurrency enthusiasts not to sell their tokens.
In the video, a female voice is heard sing lyrics like “NFT for your vanity” and “computers never sleep”. This is not the first time Elon Musk will be making music, however, his previous track “Don’t doubt your vibe,” is not as impressive but its the first time a track will be sold as an NFT.
