Popstar Ariana Grande has joined the judges of NBC’s The Voice USA season 2021.
The grammy-award winning singer took to Twitter on March 30th to announce her new gig writing;
“surprise !!! i am beyond thrilled, honored, excited to be joining @kellyclarkson @johnlegend @blakeshelton next season ~ season 21 of @nbcthevoice ! @nickjonas we will miss you,” the artist tweeted.

She’d be replacing Nick Jonas to join singers Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Shelton

Nick Jonas who had previously been a judge on the show gave up his swivel chair to Gwen Stefani in its season 19. Now he seems content to be giving it up again for Ariana Grande as he replied to her tweet with;
“Congrats @ArianaGrande! You’re going to kill it next season! Welcome to the family 😎,” he said.

However, some of his fans have expressed displeasure at his exit from the show and said as much on Twitter.
Meanwhile, Season 20 of The Voice kicked off earlier this month. Other past coaches on the singing competition include Pharrell, Alicia Keys, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Hudson, Usher, and Shakira. Taylor Swift, DJ Khaled, and Mary J. Blige have also played advisory roles on the show
