Grammy award-winning rapper Cardi B, US rapper, has reacted to the sentence of Akuapem Poloo, convicted of a n*de photoshoot with her son in June 2020.

Cardi B Says The Judge Went Too Far With Akuapem Poloo's Jail Sentence

The Circuit Court sitting in Accra had sentenced Poloo to three months in jail over the social media post.

The photo, which attracted criticism, had shown her unclad in front of her son, who was dressed only in underwear. The photoshoot was used to mark the boy’s seventh birthday.

Noting that she has seen many of such photoshoots in the US, the singer said a social media probation or community service would have sufficed.
