Nigerian rapper Falz has hinted that his 2020 popular comedy series, “Therapy” will return with a second season.
The activist and filmmaker recently made the revelation during an interview on Midday Show with Toolz Oniru-Demuren on Beat FM.
“We wanted to do something different, looking at a scenario that was so easily relatable. That sort of marriage setting, husband and wife trying to sort out their differences with a very different kind of therapist,” Falz said.
“We didn’t see it coming. It sort of blew up, and everyone just watched it and now everyone is clamouring for season two. Season two might actually be coming soon.”

Starring Falz, Toke Makinwa, Bovi and Josh2funny, the 10-episode comedy series premiered in August 2020 as the first project from Falz’s production company, House21TV.
The series centres on a dysfunctional couple who attempt to resolve their marital disputes. They utilize the expertise of Bovi, who is a therapist as it seems that their marriage is falling apart. In the course of their therapy sessions, there is a flashback of their counselling sessions with Josh2funny who happens to be a pastor.
Falz is not new to acting. He was a star actor in Funke Akindele Comedy series Jenifa’s Diary. His role as Segun earned him the award for “Best Actor in a Comedy Movie/Series” at the AMVCA in 2016.
