Popular US singer Pharrell Williams has described “Water and Garri” Tiwa Savage’s upcoming extended (EP), as a classic.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, Pharrell Williams could be heard sharing his thought about the body of work.
The Grammy-winning artist, who seemed to have listened to the EP, stated that the songs that they’re not commercial songs but classics.
“And be clear that it’s okay to have a classic. That right there, that’s like boat music, that’s like barbeque music, that’s like self-reflection music.”
The 41-year-old singer, who appeared elated, noted that she had been sceptical about the acceptance of the music since it is not commercial.
The “Dangerous Love” crooner expressed her delight to have the rapper’s view on the body of work. She added that she now needs to pick a date for its release.
