Paul Okoye of Psquare is now officially free to remarry, as an Abuja High court, in Maitama, has officially granted divorce with Anita Isama
Recall that the singer has since come under heavy criticism, after he showed off his new lover on social media
Furthermore, following her application for divorce in August of 2021,
Anita is now a free woman, as well as Paul Okoye
Also Recall how Anita Okoye, leaked the divorce documents, citing five major reasons for her decision to divorce her husband
Which include cheating, a claimed separation, being an absent parent, fraud, and difficult experiences.
She, therefore, requested a settlement of $20,000 monthly as well as a number of her husband’s posh mansions.

Meanwhile during the divorce proceeding, It was alleged that Anita, who participated in court sessions
via Zoom throughout the trial, was unable to prove all of the claims in her petition to the court,
in a counter-affidavit filed by the respondent’s attorney, wherein she was asked to provide proof of her contribution to her husband’s wealth, she was unable to provide even one evidence.
As a result, she decided to make a U-turn by withdrawing all her claims and opting for settle.
The court, however, in its wisdom, only gave joint custody of the children to the parties in the ruling on the case on October 20, 2022.
The petitioner was however not given any money in the form of alimony or settlement.
Paul, 40, met Anita, 33, in 2004 during their undergraduate days at the University of Abuja.
They married on March 22, 2014, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Their union has produced three children: Andre — born in 2013 — and the twins, Nathan and Nadia, born in 2017.
