Actor Jide-Kene Achufusi Talks About Losing His Dad, Uncle, Cousin And Friend

Living In Bondage: Breaking Free” star actor Jide-kene Achufusi Aka Swanky JKA is reminiscing on how he has lost his dad, uncle, little cousin and friend within a short amount of time.

The actor took to his Instagram page on Tuesday May 17th posting the obituary of his father who passed on in February.

In his post, Jide-Kene Achufusi stated that he had lost his dad a day after the burial of his little cousin. He also explained that his uncle died last year, while a close friend of his died just recently.

“Rest Well Pops. Dec 1939-Feb 2022.
No words. This year has been so so.
First my lil cousin bro; Dera.
I didn’t even know he was sick, Just heard he passed. I’m still at a loss for words about his passing. Dera was laid to rest on Sat. 12th February; Then my biological dad died early hours of the 13th.

Also lost My Fav. uncle Chudy late last year. Lost a close friend this year too.
Flying to Anambra for the burial rites last week felt like a journey of a thousand years. So many emotions and recanting. Blessed to have learnt a lot from all of them and grateful for the bonds we shared.
God bless their memory and encourage all who they left behind. IT IS WELL”

In March 2020, Swanky JKA won the 2020 AMVCA trailblazer award for his outstanding achievement and role in ‘Living in bondage: Breaking Free”.
