Actress Lizzy Gold Explains Why Kidnappers Are Targeting Actors

Spinning off the kidnapping of Nollywood actors Clemson Cornell and Cynthia Okereke, Nollywood actress Lizzy Gold has revealed the reason why actors are being targeted by Kidnappers

Lizzy posted a report she discovered online that states she is worth $400,000.

She further claimed that media outlets like this lead readers to believe that actors are well-off.

”This is one of the reasons actors are been kidnapped ..they think we are so rich …I need to arrest the person behind this lies…

I am working hard to be wealthy but am currently not close to any of that amount mentioned there… I nor get money ooo I be hustler ooo …I Dey even find who go dash me money …pls do not believe anything you read on the internet.”

Meanwhile the two veterans of the industry, Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel,

are currently in the kidnappers’ den after they were abducted last week.

Their abductors reached out to the family members 24hrs later demanding $100, 000 ransom.

Meanwhile Cynthia Okereke last year was publicized in the news, after being gifted millions of Naira and a car by Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin.

AGN president has also advised that Nollywood actors should be cautious, and should stop accepting roles that will require them to travel out of their base for now.

It is however not clear if the ransom money has been prepared yet.
