Fans went into attack mode after some people criticised Nigerian actress, Adesua Etomi-Wellington’s Vogue Magazine cover picture. She took to Twitter to ask her fans not to abuse others on her behalf.
She said:
“As much as I appreciate the love and support, I really wish people won’t abuse others on my behalf. It’s not what I’m about. I’m learning to rise above it all and I hope I inspire others to do the same. Our words will forever be imprinted, I hope we learn to use them wisely.”
The Nigerian sweetheart recently had a groundbreaking moment when she graced the cover of Vogue America. This feat got people talking, both positively and negatively. She, however, explains that she does not spend time analysing and nitpicking. Also, she expresses how she only has the attitude of gratitude.
This won her even more admiration from her fans who didn’t hold back in expressing how they felt about her tweet.
