Retired New York Yankee star Alex Rodriguez and bride-to-be Jennifer Lopez shared the first photos of their romantic beachside proposal in the Bahamas on Instagram three days after he popped the question.

Lopez shared photos which revealed the date as 9th March 2019.

In the image, the 43-year-old athlete is seen wearing white jeans, a grey sweater, white sneakers and his World Series ring. 49-year-old Lopez wore a flowing two-piece and tan sandals. He goes down on one knee and pops the question at sunset to a surprised Lopez.

In one photo, he wrote: “she said yes ♥️” and he captioned another “Locking it down. 💙 #futuremrsrodriguez”
