Veteran Nigerian comedian Atunyota Alleluya Akpobome also known as Alibaba has taken to Instagram to reveal how he spent the yuletide period in isolation due to COVID-19.
In a video, the ace comedian revealed that the numbers are not fake, stressing that he knows people who have died from the pandemic.
“Lemme tell you, people are dying. Pastors, Doctors, billionaires, poor people, people are dying every day. The numbers you see are not fake, people have been self-medicating, and to make it worse I spent all my Christmas and new year in Isolation. COVID-19 is real, I was in room 4 and I can tell you that from room 1- 5 the number of people that were taken out because they died. I have spoken with Egbons, and people who attended parties and two days later died”. He said in the video

In the same vein, Nigerian Paul Okoye took to Instagram to reveal that he has been down with COVID-19 for the past 10 days. The singer advised his followers to shun ignorance because experience is not always the best teacher.
“ATTENTION!!! F*ck it !!! Covid is REAL !!! I know as typical Nigerian or African is very hard to believe 🤢🤢 some will say “experience is the best teacher 🚶🏿♂️🚶🏿♂️🚶🏿♂️ oh well, the experience and the teacher has visited me and they’ve been dealing with me for more than 10days now 🤢 sh*t is not funny ….. worst sickness ever!!! …… y’all better be careful out there 🙏❤️ if you like believe me , if you like don’t believe me 🤷🏾♂️ you can as well wait for your own experience by playing ignorance 🚶🏿♂️Goodluck 🚶🏿♂️God help us all 🙏”.
