American singer Alicia Keys will host the 2020 Grammys for the second time in a row. She is to host the 62nd edition of one of the most celebrated award event in the music industry.

According to Recording Academy, the Grammy award winner will be returning to its stage for the second time later in January 2020.

“At first, I did think last year was a one-time thing but when the opportunity came back around there was no question about returning as the host of the Grammys award. Last year was such a powerful experience for me. Not only did I feel the love in the room, but I felt it from around the world and it confirmed the healing and unifying power of music.”

At the last awards show, Alicia Keys showed out by playing two pianos simultaneously. She also got the attention of the audience effortlessly during her opening monologue. In it, she featured influential ladies including former first lady Michelle Obama and Jada Pinkett Smith.

Alicia Keys is no newcomer to the Grammys. Nominated 29 times, she has 15 Grammy Awards to her name. The 62nd edition of the Grammys will be held on 26th January 2020.
