Alienware recently announced its x15 R1 and x17 gaming laptops, the Dell-owned company’s models are the thinnest in its gaming segment. These new laptops are equipped with 11th Gen Intel Core H-series mobile processors.
These laptops have an optional cherry MX Mechanism that boasts PC Gamers’ experience. Available pricing for the Alienware x15 R1 starts at $1,999.99. The Alienware x17 R1 starts at $2,099.99, with available higher specifications but prices were not shown by the company.
Availability of the laptops for sale starts June 1st, with all configurations on sale by June 15. Another special feature of the Alienware x15 R1 is its thermal technology: called Cryto-Tech, which claims to produce up to 25% thermal resistance over other gaming laptops.
Its HyperEfficient Voltage Regulation improves performance during long hours of gameplay. In order to reduce Screen reflections during gameplay, a black keyboard was added, part of the company’s Legend 2.0 design language “Dark Core” chassis.

This thin laptop has a 15.16-inch display with configuration options that include a full high definition resolution(1080P)/360Hz refresh rate or 1440p resolution/240Hz refresh rate.
A fully-fleshed version has an Intel Core i9-11900H CPU, bundled up to an Nvidia force RTX 3080 GPU(8GB of dedicated GDDRE6 memory), with an option of 32GB of DDR4 RAM.
The Alienware x17 R1 is a thicker and heavier laptop with 20.9mm of thickness, weighs 3.02kg at its lightest option. This beast of a laptop comes with a 17.3-inch display that has 120Hz and 360Hz refresh rate options.
