Alphabet is urging its employees to remain motivated in running the company’s massive global infrastructure amidst the global coronavirus outbreak.

In an internal memo to employees, Alphabets chief financial officer, Ruth Porat wrote: “As our company manages this issue, it’s important to remember that millions of people and companies around the world are relying on us.”

Porat and Alphabet’s CEO Sundar Pichai were among executives who have sent internal memos encouraging and motivating staff. Referring to the coronavirus situation as an “unsettling time”, the memos were cautionary acknowledging how it is affecting the company.
