The most recent ban for Andrew Tate from a social media platform was this week’s permanent expulsion from TikTok.
TikTok’s latest action continues a trend that started with similar sites like Youtube, Facebook and Instagram.
Andrew Tate had found a foothold and a method to go viral on multiple social media sites,
but it appears that those same sites are now cracking down and won’t be hosting his video any longer.
The social media star first gained notoriety as a kick boxer and later as a competitor on reality television shows.
What Led to the ban by various sites you may ask, well Here is a little breakdown
Tate’s account was deleted, according to a TikTok official, for breaking the company’s rules
against “material that assaults, threatens, incites violence against, or otherwise dehumanizes an individual or a group” based on characteristics like s*x.
Tate’s official Facebook, Youtube and Instagram accounts were also deleted citing the same rules against hazardous groups and people.

Recently Andrew Tate in one of his regular social media posts, argued that women are the property of their husbands
and should “have kids, sit at home, be quiet and make coffee.”
“You can’t be responsible for a dog if it doesn’t obey you,” he said,
Further implying that he needs to have control over the women he dates.
He also declared himself to be “totally a sexist” and that he would assault a woman who accused him of cheating.
These speech termed as “Hate Speech” against women further racked up various calls online for his social media account to be suspended
“Hope Not Hate”, a Britain-based group was one of the many groups that launched a petition calling for Tate to be deplatformed, describing him as dangerous.
Meanwhile A spokesperson for Tate has spoken up against the ban
“There is a running contradiction in today’s society where men are encouraged to speak and be open/honest with how they feel but are generally met with a negative response to their truth.”
The spokesperson further added,
“Banning Andrew Tate from these platforms might seem the answer, but it isn’t that simple. Removing Tate’s voice doesn’t allow for a kinder hate-free society.”
