Apple is set to launch its online store in India on Wednesday 23rd September 2020. The launch will enable its Indian customers to buy Apple products directly from the company for the first time.
“We’re proud to be expanding in India and want to do all we can to support our customers and their communities. We know our users are relying on technology to stay connected, engage in learning, and tap into their creativity, and by bringing the Apple Store online to India, we are offering our customers the very best of Apple at this important time,” Apple’s senior vice president of retail and people Deirdre O’Brien said in a statement

Apple CEO Tim Cook also took to his Twitter page to express his enthusiasm regarding the launch.

Apple has said its Indian customers will not miss out on any of its services. The company adds that its Indian online store will offer ‘Apple’s full range of products and support,’ including its latest products. Apple just announced the Apple Watch Series 6, a new iPad Air, and other products on Tuesday 15th September 2020. Likely, the store will have upcoming products at global launch.
