The prominent names at Apple’s annual app awards 2020 were not surprising; given the pandemic year and that most people needed video conferencing apps to collaborate and keep in touch. The company’s app store division celebrated “15 of the amazing apps and games that inspired the world in 2020”.
Apple also introduced a new series of awards based on what it calls ‘helpfulness’. Here’s a list of the winners at Apple’s app awards.
