While we’re not sure what sparked off the conversation, what we know is Twitter was recently flooded with tears as people started sharing their heartbreak stories.
It’s really sad but you can’t help but laugh at some of the stories because…
Someone I dated had a blog. Weeks after breakup, I was still monitoring the blog daily. She now dropped an “I miss you, nothing has been the same since ” post.
Mumu me went to drop “me too, lets talk ♥️”
She sent me text to delete it, that it was her ex before me, not me. 💀

Had a serious heartbreak one time, thought I was going to die, I was a fellowship leader in church then. when our Pastor did alter call, I didn’t know when I got up, started walking towards the alter, knelt down & kept crying. It wasn’t the spirit of God moving in me, it was Ada.

My first heartbreak was this girl that begged me to leave my place temporarily because her father was coming to visit her from the east and she had been lying to him that she had her own place.
So I left my place lovingly. Not knowing she was bringing her real boyfriend.— eddy (@ediological) November 11, 2020

Babe go break your heart come talk “it’s not what you think it is, we can still be good friends”. Folake how? You’ve seen my nakedness, do good friends usually see each other nakedness?

The thing is, while we laugh, heartbreak is a very harrowing experience no one should pray to experience. Even the character development promised at the end of the very dark tunnel in most cases, isn’t worth it.
If you’re currently going through heartbreak, read up on ways on how to cope, find support groups, and walk through it. You can also try Ted Talks as this Twitter user, Moechievous so suggested.
I only have one advice for you. If you ever get heartbroken, go and watch Ted Talks on the subject. Your eyes will clear ASAP when you realize romantic love isn’t logical. That was my antidote. Been effective for like a decade now.
