“Ayinla”- Jade Osiberu Says She’s Proud To Have Worked With Tunde Kelani

Producer of much-anticipated film “Ayinla” Jade Osiberu has hailed director Tunde Kelani for his excellent work on the film.AyinlaShe also added she was very honoured to work with an astute filmmaker like Kelani on the film on.

“After watching the final edit of ‘Ayinla’, I fell in love again with the characters. The actors, the costumes, the music and the story. I’m excited for the world to see what @tkelani has so painstakingly crafted over the last year. I’m very proud to have partnered with such a true artist and to have helped deliver on his vision for this story.” she shared on Instagram while unveiling a new poster for the film.

Recall that she shared how she had always looked forward to working with the ace director. Osiberu said her parents tricked her into coming back to Nigeria from the UK with a promise to work with Tunde Kehlani

“Little back story. When I finished from University 14years ago, my parents lured me back home with a promise of an internship with the legendary Tunde Kelani. I eagerly agreed to return but quickly realized I had been tricked when I got home to a prearranged Telco job,” Osiberu wrote on Instagram.

Directed by  Tunde Kelani and co-produced by Jide Osiberu’s Greoh studios, “Ayinla” will follow the life and times of legendary 70s Apala musician Ayinla Waheed Omowura.It features Ademeji Lateef as Ayinla, Bimbo Ademoye, Debo Macaroni, Bimbo Manuel, Ade Laoye and more.

“Ayinla” will hit cinemas on June 18th.
