Every week, a Big Brother Naija housemate faces eviction. The fourth edition of Big Brother Naija kicked off on Sunday, 30th June 2019. 21 days after the onset of the 2019 BBNaija edition, themed “Pepper Dem”, housemate Tuoyo has been evicted from the show.
At the beginning of the show, host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced that there would be two fake evictions and one real one. He also revealed that the organisers had built a secret room for the housemates.

Prior to this, five housemates had been put up for possible eviction. They were Mike, Tuoyo, Frodd, Tacha and Seyi.
At the time of the eviction show, the housemates up for possible eviction had the following percentage of votes to their names:
- Tacha – 27.25%
- Seyi – 26.72%
- Mike – 26.30%
- Frodd – 13.07%
- Tuoyo – 6.66%
During the show, before the real eviction, Seyi and Tacha were evicted. Ebuka pranked Seyi during the fake eviction and announced that he had been evicted from the house. The fake announcement almost made some of the housemates, who were watching the show, including Tacha and Thelma, break down. Just a few minutes after Seyi’s eviction, Tacha was also pranked and he told her to leave the house.
Tuoyo, who was eventually evicted, is a psychotherapist, fitness coach and part-time stripper. He was known for being the life of the party. Just the night before, he had stripped for the housemates. He’d done the same thing at the three Saturday Night parties he witnessed.
He had a brief chat with the host, during which he expressed his shock over Frodd and Seyi nominating him for eviction. He also admitted to liking Diane while in the house. However, he had a girlfriend outside the house.
Tuoyo is not the first housemate to leave the fourth edition of BBNaija. On Sunday, 7th July 2019, two housemates, Isilomo and Avala were evicted from the house, being two of the housemates with the lowest amount of Bet9ja coins.
On 14th July 2019, two more housemates, Kimoprah and Ella, were evicted from the BBNaija house after getting the least votes from fans voting online and via SMS.
The housemates who started in this edition were 21 in number. This number is sure to reduce as the eviction continues for the next 10 weeks when the show comes to an end.
