Seyi Awolowo has won the ONE.org health advocacy challenge in the just-concluded BBNaija season four reality TV show. ONE awarded Seyi the prize at the grand finale held on Sunday. Therefore, he will join ONE.org at the United Nations General Assembly.
Bisola Aiyeola, the runner-up of BBNaija season two and a ONE ambassador, handed Seyi his prize. Bisola was accompanied by a fellow ambassador, Waje Iruobe and the Country Director, Sarah Amaka.
This season, ONE tasked the BBNaija Pepper Dem housemates with creating awareness for standard healthcare in Nigeria.
To aid the preparation for the task, Country Director, Amaka, explained the importance of citizens’ participation in solving societal problems. Also, she urged them to think outside the box.
Seyi presented ideas that revolved around citizen participation and government support. In addition to that, he presented ideas about proper aid to resolve the health care issues in Nigeria.
During this BBNaija health advocacy challenge, Seyi emerged as the winner. As such, ONE chose Seyi as an ambassador for the organisation.
This is not Seyi’s only win. During another challenge, he won millions of naira worth of Bedmate furniture to furnish his home after he leaves the house!
Although he did not win the competition, at least he did not leave empty-handed. Congratulations to Seyi!
