BBNaija “Shine Ya Eye” housemate Angel has explained the reason behind her lackadaisical attitude towards their weekly Head of House games.
The housemate during this week’s HOH games on Monday, September 13 was seen strolling, putting in the barest of effort into the game as the time rapidly raced to finish.
In a conversation with Saskay after the games, Angel shared that she doesn’t feel lucky enough to win so she’s learned not to bother.
“People supporting me will be wondering what was wrong with me during the Head of House game. Some people have luck with the game and I don’t, so I don’t bother stressing myself.
“I hope people supporting me understand. My body was just weak. I need to tone down a little bit this week and watch from the sidelines. I’m not looking for the fame right now. I just want to rest,” Angel said.

The housemate has admitted to suffering from some mental health issues since her time in the house.
On 25th July 2021, when the female contestants were introduced into Biggie’s house, Angel had revealed that her boyfriend’s death in 2019 threw her into depression and that she had harmed herself multiple times before she dropped out of University.
She also shared with fellow housemate Arin that she somehow feels responsible for the death of her grandmother.
Angel is up eviction this week alongside Yousef, Saskay and Cross.
Whitemoney won the HOH games and chose Queen as his deputy while Nini won veto power which she used to replace Cross with herself for eviction.
