Bella Shmurda Reacts After LASU’s Pleads With Him To Return To School

Singer Bella Shmurda has reacted to his former school, Lagos State University (LASU)’s plea to return and finish his education.

The “Cashapp” singer took to his Twitter page to respond to LASU’s plea writing;

“Now playing: 4 years in @LASUOfficial is really nothing,” he tweeted. “Better get tha money! The economy is starving!”

On Wednesday 26th January which marked the singer’s birthday, Shmurda revealed in a tweet how he struggle to stay in school because of his poor performance and eventually had to drop out.

Shmurda further explained that he is happy he decided to leave school as he is now worth over 550million streams

Reacting to his tweet, the institution congratulated the singer on his musical achievements. The school, however, urged him to return to the classroom to complete his degree programme.

Bella Shmurda rose to fame after his song “Vision 2020” remix with YBNL Boss Olamide. He is signed to YBNL music group alongside artists like Fireboy DML, Zinoleezky, Limerick, and Picarzo Rhap.

Shmurda was born on the 20th of February 1997. His style of music tilts towards Hip Hop, Afrobeat, R&B.
