Former Disney actress Bella Thorne accepted the Vision Award at P*rnhub’s ceremony this weekend. Thorne, 22, took home the award at the website’s second annual awards ceremony for her directorial debut adult film “Her and Him”. The skin flick follows a couple’s “out-of-control s*xually charged encounter”.
Thorne also announced that she’s helping the X-rated company to make the site safer. “I am working with P*rnhub to implement a change to their flagging system algorithm… To ensure safety for everyone and everyone in our community,” Thorne then said. “I’m literally so f*cking excited.”
Thorne then explained that directing her skin flick “Her & Him” opened [her] mind creatively and allowed [her] to really push the limits as an artist. She said it also allowed her to “be able to show the world a raw, new, fresh side of beauty … [that] was my end goal.”
The film explores “this relationship between a male and a female and this fight over dominance”. It is “a modernistic, s*xually explicit ‘Romeo and Juliet’-like depiction of two star-crossed lovers. And the lovers have an unbridled s*xual longing for each other.”
Bella Thorne’s P*rnHub Award looks like it’s going to be one of many. Congrats to her.
