In the Spirit of Easter, there is now a Bitmoji Bible. It is a new version created by two Americans, Daniel Eckler and Phil Lebovits.
The bible is one of the most popular books in the world. According to the Bitmoji Bible Website, the duo said,
“The Bible is still the most-read book in the United States, followed by The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck. But young people today get most of their spiritual inspiration from Twitter feeds or Russian trolls on Facebook. Sadly, they don’t know their Leviticus from their Corinthians. That’s why we created the Bitmoji Bible, a quick way to learn Bible stories without having to read words.”
Clearly, the two creators think this is an amazing idea. They also added,
“In the beginning, God created the Heaven and the Earth. Four-billion years and three weeks later, we created Bitmojis.”
The Bitmoji Bible is meant to carry some stories from both the Jewish and Christian bibles. They used Snapchat’s popular Bitmoji emoticons to tell popular Bible stories.
There have been different versions and translations of The Bible over the years, but none like this one. This seems like a very far reach translation, and the bible has gone through years of different ones, from different languages, times and eras.
The idea is to make the Bible easier for millennials to understand. This would be assuming that words a little to complex for people in this generation to comprehend.
The Bitmoji Bible is also very sparsely written. It only features very few stories found in both the Jewish and Christian Bibles.
