BMW has announced its second electric car under the ‘M’ branding scheme, the iX M60. This electric vehicle is BMW’s latest addition to the Motorsport family. The Motorsport lineup is BMW’s car racing line, and the automaker says its latest car is made with that in mind.
Under the hood is a massive 111.5kWh battery that has about 106.3kWh usability. This delivers around 811 lb-ft of torque. The car features two electric motors and can drive up to 280 miles of range on a single charge.
It is also quick with a 0-60mph acceleration time of 3.6 seconds, just in line with the motorsport spirit. Charging through a DC fast charging station will deliver about 250kW of power, with about 35 minutes of time to get to 80% full from 10%.
