Bridgerton’s breakout star Regé Jean-Page has come aboard to star and executive-produce Paramount’s reboot of ‘The Saint’.
The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Jean-Page will star in the Kwei-Armah scripted reboot of “The Saint”. The reboot is based in part on Leslie Charteris’ 1920s book series and the 1997 film starring Val Kilmer.
The incoming film is Jean-Page’s second project with Paramount. It will be produced by Lorenzo DiBonaventura, Brad Krevoy, and Mark Vahradian.
“The Saint” follows the story of a Robinhood-like character who takes on bad guys as he travels around the world.
The actor shot stardom when he starred as the romantic Duke of Hastings in one of Netflix’s most successful series “Bridgerton”.
