Burial Of Veteran Actress Rachel Oniga To Hold On 26th And 27th August

The burial ceremony of Late veteran actress Rachel Oniga is slated to hold on the 26th and 27th of August.

The deceased’s son, Tunji Oniga, stated this in a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Wednesday 4th August 2021.Burial Of Veteran Actress Rachel Oniga Is Slated For 26th and 27th August

According to him, the wake keep will hold on 26th August at her residence in Magodo, Lagos State with her burial set for 27th of August.

Tunji Oniga, speaking further on the death of his mum, he said “My mother’s death is shocking to me, in fact, I don’t believe she is dead. When I see her phone ring and she is not there to take the call, the reality dawns on me.

She was a philanthropist, who was always bothered about the needs of others,” he said.

Rachel Oniga passed away on 31st July at the age of 64. She is originally from Eku, Delta State in Southern Nigeria.  She was born on 23 May 1957 in Ebutte Metta, Lagos State.

In 1993, She began her acting career in the movie titled “Onome” and her debut Yoruba movie was “Owo Blow”.

Rachel Oniga featured in notable Nigerian films such as “Sango” a movie produced and directed by Obafemi Lasode. She was also featured in Wale Adenuga’s television series, Super story.
