From indications, Nigerian musicians Burna Boy and Mr 2Kay have settled their four years long beef. The artists were seen together for the first time since their infamous beef partying at a club. The video showed them hugging it out, laughing together all in clear indications of “Bromance”; their beef has come to an end.

Recall that Mr 2Kay was robbed at gunpoint in his hotel room at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, in 2017, during the “Buckwyld N Breathless” concert where he also performed. The robbers also worked 2kay over, beating him to a pulp.
They were later apprehended by the Lagos Police Command. Upon interrogation, 2kay’s assailants confessed that they attacked him on Burna Boy’s orders.

The police had then declared Burna Boy wanted and the case was charged to court. Mr 2Kay however dropped the case and they reportedly settled out of court. In an interview with PUNCH newsmen that he withdrew the case after Burna Boy apologised and begged him to drop it.
“He (Burna Boy) reached out to me to apologise when the case was very ‘hot’. He actually called me, though that part was never put out in the public. It was quite a long conversation and he apologised,” Mr 2kay told Punch.
On whether there was any prospect of collaboration between them in the future, the “God Can Bless Anybody” singer said: “I cannot say for now but I am in talks with his mum, who doubles as his manager. I don’t have any direct contact with Burna Boy at the moment.” he said.
We just may get to see that collaboration after all…. fingers crossed.
