Nigerian artists Burna Boy and Wizkid bagged major wins at the just concluded MOBO Awards 2020.
On December 10th, The UK award ceremony returned after a three-year hiatus to recognise both UK and other black musicians across the globe.
Wizkid was named Best African Act of The Year while the self-named African Giant, Burna Boy won Best International Act of The Year.
He was nominated in the Best International Act category alongside Rema, Drake, Meghan Thee Stallion, late Pop Smoke, Lil Baby, and other A-List international stars.
For the best international act, Burna Boy, Rema, Wizkid, Davido, Fireboy, Adekunle Gold and Tiwa Savage were the nominees.
The event, held virtually was hosted by Maya Jama and Chunkz.
It saw performances from Headie One, Young T & Bugsey, Ms Banks, Kojey Radical and Shaybo, dancehall vocalist, Stylo G and soul singer, Tiana Major9.
