The federal high court sitting in Abuja recently served Biodun Fatoyinbo a summons document. It summoned the COZA pastor and alleged r****t to make an appearance within 14 days. A court summons, issued on 6th September 2019, made this known as seen by The Cable on Monday.
Busola Dakolo accused Fatoyinbo of r*ping her on two occasions in 2002 when she was a minor/
“The court hereby commands that you appear to stand trial within fourteen (14) days after the service of this writ on you. Inclusive of the day of such service you do cause an appearance to be entered for you, in an action of Mrs Busola Dakolo. Take notice that in default the claimant may proceed, and judgement may be given in your absence,” the summon read.
Documents also show that Dakolo alleges that Biodun Fatoyinbo’s action was an ‘intentional infliction of emotional distress”.
“An order of this honourable court directing [Biodun Fatoyinbo] to publish a clearly worded apology to the claimant. The said apology is to be on the front page of at least two (2) national newspaper and national televisions stations for [a week].
“An order of this honourable court directing the defendant to address a personal letter of apology to the claimant. He is to show honest remorse for his misdeeds.”
Meanwhile, after Busola Dakolo accused him of r*ping her as a minor, Biodun Fatoyinbo stepped down from the COZA altar. The COZA pastor said the move would allow him to “submit to the concerns of [his] spiritual mentors as they consider all the issues that [had] been raised against [him]”.
