Cardi ‘Chioma’ B Prepares To Perform In South Africa

Grammy award-winning musician Cardi B has announced that she will be visiting South Africa soon. The American rapper made this known via her Twitter page on Thursday, 20th February 2020, while responding to a tweet that the site that sells her tickets had crashed in a few seconds.

 

“Cardi B fever has hit Mzansi, so much that it crashed a tickets website in seconds,” a parody account had tweeted.

 

 

While describing herself as “Chioma B”, a name she accepted while she visited Nigeria in December, Cardi announced she will be visiting South Africa, asking fans to tell her about the country in the comment section.

Cardi B also accepted the name “Ayo” for her daughter Kulture when she was in Nigeria for the Livespot X Festival that took place on 8th December 2019.

 

To say the artiste came prepared to have fun in Nigeria is an understatement. A day after her arrival, she said she craved Jollof rice and wanted to visit “the ghetto”. The rapper shared this on her Instagram story.

 

The “Bodak Yellow” singer also visited Ebeano Supermarket where she bought groceries she took to The Lion’s Village motherless babies home in Lekki.

 

Nigerians applauded the humility of Cardi B during her visit to Nigeria. She came to the level of everyone she met and ensured she entertained her fans.
