HP is introducing the new Envy Wood series in its bid to explore a more natural material vibe. The company revealed an authentic wood inlay on the palm rest. We all know how sleek HP’s laptops can be.
The HP Envy 13, Envy 17, Envy x360 13 and Envy x360 15 deliver a new timber-ish feel. They are available in Ceramic White with White Birch, Nightfall Black with Natural Walnut, and Natural Silver with Pale Birch.
This comes after HP recently experimented with the leather-wrapped HP Spectre Folio. It was a convertible laptop that revolutionised laptop designs back in 2018. The laptop had a skeleton magnesium frame that attached to the exterior leather. It also combined it with a tiny motherboard to maximise the amount of battery on this device.
The wood grain patterns according to HP will vary between laptops. Apart from the wooden catch, the computer also has some other great features.
It has all the features that other HP metal PC’s have. It also now has an option for unspecified next-generation Intel Core processors and second generation Vega graphics and AMD Ryxen chips.
HP Envy Wood series laptops will hit the stores by August 2019. The company is yet to reveal the price. However, it should be announced close to the release date.
