Nigerians on social media are sending all their love to Khafi as news broke that her younger brother was shot dead in London.
According to BBC, Alexander Kareem died after he shot just outside their family home in Askew Road, Shepherd’s Bush, West London. A white Range Rover in a street camera footage pulled up and shots coming from it hit him in the chest and abdomen. 20yr old Alexander died within an hour from the bullet wounds he suffered. The White Range Rover involved in the shooting was later found 3 miles away, burnt. According to the report, the police are yet to make any arrests. The shooting happened at 00.40 AM on Monday.
A friend told The Sun:
“His family is distraught. Alex wouldn’t talk down to anyone – he was friends with everybody. They are all good people. His sister Khafi spreads positivity through her YouTube account. She wakes up and prays for people at 7.30 every morning. Alex’s brother is trying to get back from Australia to grieve with the rest of his family, his mum is completely devastated.”

Meanwhile, the erstwhile BBnaija housemate posted a black photo on her Instagram with a heartbreak emoji in the early hours of today.
With swollen face and puffy eyes, she also spoke briefly about his death on her daily YouTube program #Khafiprays. She said while she wasn’t ready to talk about it yet, she implored everyone to include her family in their prayers as this is a difficult time for them.
Khafi celebrated her brother’s birthday in March, with the caption:
Happy Birthday to my youngest brother Alex!!! The baby who’s not a baby anymore!!! I thank God for your life and do not take you for granted!! I love you very much and I’m so proud of everything you are doing for yourself! You are a go getter and I pray God blesses every step forward you are making. Love you ️
