American actor Cuba Gooding Jr is to face a year in jail for alleged s*xual assault. The actor could face one year in prison for his alleged s*xual assault case.
Gooding was accused of touching someone inappropriately. A woman claims he grabbed her bre*st.
The alleged incident happened in NYC at the Magic Hour Rooftop Bar and Lounge. Back in June, the police arrested the award-winning actor.
The police charged Gooding with forcible touching and s*x abuse in the third degree. The court later released him and he pled not guilty.
The court scheduled the trial to begin yesterday, 3rd September. But they ended up pushing it back to 10th October 2019.
Reported on CNN, Gooding’s legal team was ready but prosecutors with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office argued for a later start.
Gooding has denied all allegations.
It turns out that the time Cuba Gooding Jr spent in court settings while filming the OJ Simpson story was a foreshadowing of his own court case.
