Embattled dancehall singer has revealed that Davido didn’t take her calls after he asked her to reach out.

Earlier this year in May, Cynthia Morgan who’d been on a hiatus returned back to the scenes, granting an Instagram live interview.

 

Therein, she revealed she was sick and had to stay off the spotlight to recover.

 

The singer also further revealed the issues she was having with her record label which forced her to change her music name from Cynthia Morgan to Madrina.

 

As the interview went viral, Davido in his usual social media boisterous nature tweeted that Cynthia Morgan should place a call to him. He also added he’s got an anthem for her and he’s about to record it.

Months after, she returns to reveal he didn’t take her calls

The singer in a new interview shared that she put a call to Davido severally for more than three months. However, she didn’t get any response.

She also texted him via WhatsApp but was met with crickets as well.

 

Morgan revealed that he’d sent her a record and she recorded her demo verse but after that, all communication was cut off.

The revelation has left many wondering why Davido will so publicly ask a struggling Morgan to call him, knowing he would not respond.
