Damilola Adegbite Launches Mental Health Book Titled “Reset” & Charity Foundation

Nollywood actress Damilola Adegbite recently launched her book on mental health titled “Reset: The Mind-Body Approach to a New You”.

The event was held on Sunday 21st November at the Civic Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos, hosted by comedienne Chigurl.

At the event, Adegbite said the book is a self-help wholeness and wellness manual for anyone who feels like they have been or are still being knocked down by life and needs motivation and guidance on getting back up or staying up.

The actress added that the book is also a call to action on how to re-thrive and re-bloom, regardless of life’s unfavourable past experiences or current situation.

The new author also launched her foundation called “With A Gentle Heart” because of her compassion for mother and child.

The goal is to help single mothers or fathers and their children. In that light, all proceeds from the book launch either from buying a book or supporting the foundation in cash will go to the foundation.

Celebrities at the book launch include Mai Atafo, Nancy Isime, Laura Ikeji, and Sharon Ooja. Ini Dima-Okojie, AY Makun and Mr Macaroni also attended the event.
