Davido Disburses ₦250 Million Birthday Donation To 292 Orphanages Across Nigeria

DMW boss Davido has disbursed the ₦250 million donations he got on his 29th birthday to 292 government accredited orphanages in Nigeria.

On 21st November, the “Assurance” singer disclosed that he will be giving out the ₦200 million donation he made on his birthday to selected orphanages in Nigeria.

The singer also added ₦50 million to the money after setting up a five-man committee that would ensure the monies are disbursed rightly.

Davido Disburses ₦250 Million Birthday Donation To 292 Orphanages Across Nigeria

Keeping to his words, the award-winning singer in a statement on Tuesday 15th February confirmed that the donation has been disbursed.

“Since its inauguration, the members of the committee have worked tirelessly to ensure that they collate the names and information of the documented and verified orphanages,” part of the statement read.

 

He went on to list the names of orphanages that partook in the donation alongside the amount of money they received.
