Dell quietly launched its Alienware m15 Ryzen Edition R5 gaming laptop officially in the Indian market.
This gaming laptop was launched by Dell earlier this year, the company’s first AMD-powered laptop in over a decade. The Dell Alienware m15 Ryzen Edition R5 gaming laptop is priced at Rs 1,49,990 in India. It can be purchased from Dell’s online store. This gaming laptop has Dell’s fastest 15-inch G-SYNC display, featuring Alienware Cryo-Tech™ cooling and AMD Ryzen™ 5000 Series mobile processor.
Dell’s Alienware m15 Ryzen Edition R5 laptop features a 15.6-inch display, under the hood, the m15 Ryzen Edition R5 laptop makes use of an octa-core AMD Ryzen R7 5800H CPU.
The chip has a base clock speed of 3.2GHz and a max boost clock speed of up to 4.4GHz. This new offering by Dell is powered by RTX 3060 GPU.
For power, the laptop packs 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM and has 512GB PCIe M.2 SSD storage.
Dell’s Cryo-Tech™ cooling technology uses four independent copper heat pipes, which connect the copper surfaces with the CPU, GPU, as well as fan assemblies, providing heat dissipation across the core components.

The Alienware m15 Ryzen™ Edition R5 gaming laptop doesn’t have Windows 11 operating yet, however Dell promises it is upgradable. It ships out of the box with Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro depending on your preference.
For display, the Alienware m15 Ryzen™ Edition R5 gaming laptop is the company’s first notebook with a 360 Hz optional display.
Wired Connectivity, the laptop has two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C port, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, an HDMI 2.1 Output port, RJ-45 Ethernet port, and a headphone jack. For wireless connectivity, the gaming laptop has Wi-Fi 6 AX1650 802.11ax 2×2 Wireless LAN support and Bluetooth 5.2.
Dell’s Engineers have worked hard to improve its former 165 Hz rate, the NVIDIA® G-SYNC® technology synchronizes with the screen’s refresh rate to power your laptop’s FHD 360Hz or 240Hz panel. Gamers spend a lot of time staring at the screen, and Dell has quipped the M15 R5 laptop with an impressive 165Hz refresh rate, an FHD resolution that reduces blue light emissions.
Users can sign in using Windows Hello, which is available with the QHD 240Hz or FHD 360Hz panel models.
