Don Jazzy has revealed how Twitter temporarily suspended his account due to copyright infringement.
The music entrepreneur stated that some upcoming artists had given him their songs to promote without informing their record label.
These record labels had In turn reported Don Jazzy’s Twitter page for copyright infringement.
Meanwhile, on Saturday 29th May, Don Jazzy advised artists to inform their record labels before requesting him to post their work. He also shared a screenshot of the suspension notice from Twitter
The notice read: “Your account is now available for use. Please be aware that any additional notices against your account may result in your account being locked again and potentially suspended.
In order to avoid this, do not post any additional material in violation of our copyright policy and immediately remove any material from your account for which you are not authorized to post.”

Don Jazzy, whose full name is Micheal Collins Ajereh, is a Nigerian record producer, singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur. He co-founded the now-defunct record label Mo’ Hits Records in 2004. However, at the closure of the aforementioned record label, he set up Mavin Records on 8th May 2012.
Mavin Records has DR SID, D’ Prince, Korede Bello, Johnny Drille, LadiPoe, DNA twins, Rema, Crayon, and Di ‘Ja as its signed artists. In January 2021, Don Jazzy signed a new female artiste, Ayra Starr to his record label.
In April, the 37-years old record label boss for the first time opened up about his failed marriage.
He revealed he was previously married at age 20 to a lady named Michelle Jackson. The union crashed two years later when he was 22.
Notwithstanding his status as a label boss, Don Jazzy uses his social media page to promote young talents in the entertainment industry.
