Nicole Young had filed for divorce seeking to end their marriage in 2020 and their divorce battle has raged on since then.
Young filed a separate lawsuit to challenge the prenup she signed shortly before their marriage. In the suit, she alleged she was pressured to sign the prenup by Dre and his legal team.

Dre, 56, and Young, 51, were married for 24 years but split up in March 2020. Young alleged that Dre forced her out of their home “on or about April 2.” According to legal documents, Dre “quickly plotted to secretly transfer their assets, to deny Nicole her equal share.”
Young also accused the hip-hop star in court papers of abuse. She alleged that it was so bad she now has “post-traumatic stress syndrome.” Dre has strongly denied the abuse claims.
In July, a judge ordered Dre to pay his ex-wife Nicole Young $3293,306.00 (N151 Million) in spousal support. However, the ruling given by the judge is only temporal until a final decision is reached, Radar reported.
“[Dre] is ordered to pay to the [Nicole] spousal support in the sum of $293,306.00 per month, payable on the first of each month, commencing August 1, 2021.” He will pay a total of $3,519,672 per year until Nicole remarries or “enters into a new domestic partnership,” read the court document obtained by Radar.
The former couple got married in May 1996, and have two children together. A 19-year-old daughter Truly and a 23-year-old son Truice.
