E3 2021: Biggest Gaming Event Promises Engineering Advances

E3 Gaming 2021 Engineering: It’s around that time of the year, E3 the biggest gaming event of the calendar year. This year’s event promises to bring Engineering advances in gaming tech.

 

What To Expect From E3 2021 - TechStory

 

E3 annually holds in the shiny city of Los Angeles, but this year’s event will be virtually owing largely to the global coronavirus pandemic. We can expect to see big video gaming companies and developers flex their newest breakthroughs in gaming engineering.

 

The event name “E3” is coined from Electronic Entertainment Expo, we also expect to see new gaming titles announced by the likes of  Ubisoft, Microsoft’s Xbox, Nintendo, Gameloft among others. The event will run from June 12-15.

 

Sadly the very popular Playstation owned by Japanese giants Sony will be absent from this year’s event, another absentee is Activision.

Xbox and Bethesda will be cohosting the E3 showcase event, the game title “Halo Infinite” will most likely be the shining star of the show. The popular game didn’t come to the Xbox series X last year, got delayed after negative remarks due to its less impressive visuals.

 

Microsoft presentation will begin at 10 am pacific time. You will be able to stream the event live through all Xbox channels such as Twitter, Twitch, and Youtube.

Nintendo at E3 2021

Nintendo announced it will be focused mainly on software, with no plans to unveil any hardware for this event. This comes as a surprise, as the company was supposed to release a new switch according to rumors. But that might not be the case for its 40 minutes presentation.

ESA, also known as Entertainment Software Association has the responsibility of hosting the event virtually. They announced an E3 app for iOS and Android that gives users the whole experience virtually.

Users will be able to virtually socialize with other people, tour virtual exhibitor booths, the latest games, and products. The app is currently live and running, open to content creators, the media, exhibitors, and the general public.
