EA (Electronic Arts Inc.) has announced that its EA Play event for 2020 would be held as an online event on 11th June 2020. For now, there is not much information available besides the date.
The gaming company had always held the EA Play event in the second week of June. This year, the event will be strictly online, unlike previous years where fans attended live events at different locations.
For example, in 2016, EA Play events had happened in Los Angeles and London from 12th June through 14th June. Usually, the event ends with a press conference held live and also streamed for viewers from around the world.
For now, everyone has to wait in anticipation of what the program would look like. In the past, the company provides well over a hundred gaming stations for attendees. In addition, there were music and special guest appearances from superstars in the music, film and football world.

It is not clear if 2020’s version would be a one-day event or not. This is because past editions ran for a minimum of two days. The announcement came via a Twitter post from the company’s page. It had posted:
EA Play Live goes digital in 2020!

To follow the live stream, you would likely have to do so from the company’s website. Just like, Game Developers Congress (GDC), E3, had also been canceled. While GDC has now been fixed for 4 to 6 August 2020, there is no news about the fate of E3.
E3 is known as the Electronic Entertainment Expo, and it is a trade event for the video game industry. However, there were early indications that EA would have not attended the even if it had been held.
