Education: Microsoft’s Event Seeks To Reimagine Technology Solutions

Microsoft is hosting an educational event focused on reimagining solutions for the education sector using technology. This event will happen tomorrow November 9 2021 virtually exactly at 9 a.m pacific time.

The Redmond based company will share with the public ways its latest tech solutions will bridge the gap created by the global pandemic. Microsoft Education platform looks to improve its partners, school leaders using technology.

Microsoft’s last event saw an early release of its next operating system Windows 11 which was available for Users in New Zealand before others.

Users with Windows 10 ready devices will be able to download the 11 version right now. This also applies to users who have already purchased PCs with Windows 11 preinstalled. Ordinary Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) such as Lenovo, Asus and HP are already shipping Windows 11 with their Laptops and PCs.

Biggest Announcements From Microsoft’s Surface Virtual Event

Microsoft earlier said Windows 11 will be available as a free upgrade on October 5, 2021. The upgrade was first available for newer 11th generation laptops and then older eligible laptops in Mid 2022.

Like the other versions, Microsoft will be releasing Windows 11 in batches. While the newer laptops will ship the operating system preloaded after October 5th. As earlier announced Android apps will be coming, but sadly not this year.

But, it will be available for users in the Insider program for months to come. To be able to install Microsoft next operating system on any hardware, you will need an ISO method.

Windows 11 has a minimalistic and redesigned interface, with the biggest changes to the Start Menu. The tech giants have also redesigned their widgets, App store and lots more.

Some users say the new operating seems to borrow a lot from the iMac OS design language. Although, not everyone will be able to upgrade to this operating system. There are some requirements to be met, even though the upgrade is totally free.

Microsoft’s Education event might reveal some new hardware from the tech giants. The Surface Lineup, especially the Go Tab 3 is the light bearer for its Education division.
