On Tuesday, 27th October, Nigerian afrobeats superstar Burna Boy was a guest on Ebro Darden’s Apple Music show. The show which was tagged “Miseducation Radio” saw Burna take over Ebro’s spot to talk about Afrobeats and Nigeria’s current situation especially with the #EndSARS movement.
Announcing the show on his Instagram, Ebro Darden wrote:
“Today the African giant @burnaboygram took over my Apple Music show for a two hour special he called #MiseducationRadio. We got a chance to catch up and play some hits, plus talk about the current #EndSARS crisis in Nigeria, and the diversity of sounds in African music”

When Burna Boy was asked why he tagged the show Miseducation Radio, he said it’s because black people have been kept in the dark for too long. He says now is the time to be deliberate about knowledge that would bring black people to power.
He also spoke about Nas and Damian Marley Album, Distant Relatives, and how it influenced his music.
Burna Boy spoke extensively about the diversity of African music. He took Ebro through the distinct sounds from different parts of Africa.
As the show progressed, Burna Boy fully took over and spoke with Falz, Sean “Diddy” Combs and South African music producer, Black Coffee.
