American rapper Kanye West has spoken out against police brutality in Nigeria as the rise of the #EndSARS protest sweeps across the nation.

Kanye West, 43, on Monday night, took to his twitter page where he said: “I stand with my Nigerian brothers and sisters to end police brutality.”

End Special Anti-Robbery Squad or #EndSARS is a social movement in Nigeria that started on Twitter. Furthermore, youths are calling the ban of the unit of the Nigerian Police Force accused of, theft, unlawful arrests, extrajudicial killings It is a call to end police oppression and brutality in Nigeria.

Meanwhile, on Monday, American singer Trey Songz called out President Buhari. He questioned the rationale behind the decision to redeploy members of the SARS squad. This was after the  government announced that the group has been dissolved

Presently there is a nationwide protest all over Nigeria today. Nigerian youths are out in their numbers saying that SARS must come to end in the country.
