Reality Tv star, Erica has described Laycon winner of BBNaija Season five as a “snake” who pretends to evoke pity from people.
The 27-year-old reality star bared her mind on Monday 28th June 2021, during the ongoing BBNaija reunion show.
Reflecting on their sour relationship, Erica said she regrets calling Laycon her best friend during their time on the show.
The actress and reality TV star added that she can no longer trust the musician following her experience with him.
“I think he’s just a snake and he’s just going to act to make people pity him as usual. He acts like a saint which is not going to be genuine. So, I don’t think there’s really any relevance. We only knew each other like for two months right in my 27 years of living? I can’t trust anything that comes out of his mouth.
I think Laycon is just a snake, and he’s going to make people pity him as usual. As I look at him, I still feel very stupid for ever saying that he was my best friend in the house who always got my back and all of that.
There was a video I saw where he said ‘if I had the chance to talk to Erica, I’ll tell her she is smart’, are we not on the same group chat, uncle? Why are you pretending?”

In his response, Laycon stated that he had no interest in further pursuing the matter and would prefer to only have conversations that promote his music.
In 2020, the pair was amongst the most-talked-about housemates while the show lasted. Even though they started off as friends, Erica started gravitating towards Kiddwaya who she said she was attracted to. This friendship didn’t go down well with Laycon who had once disclosed his romantic intentions towards Erica. .
Erica was thereafter disqualified from the Lockdown house after she received her third and final strike following her clash with Laycon who eventually won the show.
