Wizkid has lashed out on President Buhari over his inattentiveness to the plight of his people following repeated brutalisation from SARs.
Another #EndSaRs campaigned took off on social media after a recent spate of arbitrary arrest, extortion, and killings by the police unit.
Celebrities including Wizkid, Falz, Yemi Alade, WurlD amongst others have lent their voices to amplify the need to #EndSARs.
Wizkid, quite uncharacteristic of him as his online personality is mostly “unbothered” blasted the President Buhari in a tweet, asking him to face his country and respond to calls to end SARs.
Buhari has in a tweet wished Donald Trump speedy recovery after the US president annouced he and his wife had tested positive for coronavirus virus.
Wizkid quoted said tweet with:
Donald trump is not your business!
Old man! Police/Sarz still killing
Nigerian youth on a daily! Do something!
Nothing concern u for America!
Face your country !! https://t.co/thxmoYb7VE— Wizkid (@wizkidayo) October 4, 2020

The dreaded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARs) has been in the news recently for targeting young Nigerians and extorting them of their valuables. Many killings have also been reportedly perpetrated by the police unit
