Family Of Diamond Tycoon Lev Leviev Sues “Tinder Swindler” Simon Leviev For Impersonation

The real Leviev diamond family is suing “Tinder Swindler” Simon Leviev.

Israeli -Russian diamond tycoon Lev Leviev and his family have launched legal action against the notorious fraudster. This is coming after the release of the hit Netflix documentary for allegedly impersonating them and enriching himself in their name.

“For a long time, he has been making false representations as being the son of Lev Leviev. He cunningly used false words, claiming to be a member of the Leviev Family”,  the lawsuit alleges, according to court documents obtained by Page Six.

“He even used the LLD Diamonds trademark to make his victims believe that he was indeed part of the diamond company.

The family also alleges that Simon defrauded, cheated, conned,  and hurt women, both in Israel and worldwide.

“The defendant used the dating application ‘Tinder’ to locate women who he then emotionally manipulated. He also convinced them to transfer large sums of money to him under the guise of being on the run from individuals intending on hurting him,” the lawsuit states.

Simon whose real name is Shimon Hayut served two and a half years in a Finnish prison after he was found guilty of defrauding three women.

He was also convicted of four fraud charges that landed him in an Israeli prison for 15 months. However, he was released after five months.
